Drawing Improvement Club Anonymous 09/25/2019 (Wed) 00:53:18 No. 3368
This is a Drawthread for anons to hone their anime drawing skills or beginners wanting to learn how to draw.
Feel free to link to any good tutorials that teach fundamentals, anatomy, life art, stylization and manga drawing.

>He doesn't have a drawing software installed

Just remember that even if you read all the theory, you still have to apply it in the end.
The learning process may vary for people, but how I go is
>Draw shit
>Try to find why it's shit and compare with other artist if needed
>Try to improve
Also if you are starting, no need to spend 3 years on a single drawing, try to draw a lot of different things, sketch, and occasionally something (almost) out of your reach and assess your situation.

Last thing from my observation: line quality make a lot for a drawing, I'm really slowly getting there
>>3385
It would be nice to have drawfags after all, especially honing their skills.
I hear /a/ has more drawfags, but /animu/ has more scanlators.
>>3368

Cute.
>>3368
I want to do lewd things to that girl.
>>3785
That picture lies.
Drawing is not fun. It is a lengthy, painful process the results of which you will never ever be satisfied with.

Fuck drawing.
And fuck me for picking it up, although I guess it is also a blessing, but for very specific reasons.
>>3949
Anything that requires skill eventually gets divided into three parts:
>Shit you can't do because you still suck
>Shit you can maybe do if you work your ass off because you can barely pull it off
>Shit that's easy because it's well within your ability
As you learn your skill (in this case, drawing), all three of these parts grow. So not only can you do more "fun" stuff like quick scribbles, you also realize how much more you can barely do and how much more you still have no chance at doing. And the easy stuff quickly becomes boring and "not good enough" because your idea of what mastery is continues to grow as well.
That's also why a lot of people who get just a little skill end up stuck on Deviantart drawing the same low-level shit while soaking up praise from their groupies- they dimly see the effort required to improve and just give up. Don't be those losers, embrace the eternal pain.
>>3965
It's good to have a skill.
>>3368
Where's the requests???
